2023 NBA Draft: As Pool of Prospects Shrinks, 44 More Candidates Withdraw
Leading up to this week, 108 prospects had officially withdrawn from the 2023 NBA Draft. With that in mind, the deadline for international players to remove their names from this class was approaching.
On Tuesday afternoon, 44 more players withdrew from the upcoming draft class. Of this group, 40 were international prospects.

- Ege Demir: Tofas (Turkey)
- Thijs De Ridder: Antwerp (Belgium)
- Nikola Djurisic: Mega (Serbia)
- Ruben Dominguez: Estudiantes (Spain)
- Quinn Ellis: Monferrato (Italy)
- Juan Fernandez: Fuenlabrada (Spain)
- Clement Frisch: Nancy (France)

- Birahima Sylla: Roanne (France)
- Dez Andras Tanoh: Budapesti Honved (Hungary)

Furthermore, four other prospects based in the United States also withdrew this week.
- Josh Bannan: Montana
- Gael Bonilla: Capitanes (G League)
- Djordjije Jovanovic: Ontario (G League)
- Bobi Klintman: Wake Forest
Among the most surprising names on these lists include Bobi Klintman, Nikola Durisic, Zvonimir Ivisic, Ousmane Ndiaye, Armel Traore and Mantas Rubstavicius. Each of these prospects projected to have a real chance at being selected.
In just eight days the 2023 NBA Draft will take place, as the remaining prospects in the pool of candidates hope to hear their names called.
