Draft Summary
After winning the 2023 NBA Championship, Denver wasn't expected to have any phenomenal draft. But with their recently acquired selections, they did a pretty good job of addressing some concerns.
With their sole first round pick they selected Gonzaga forward Julian Strawther, who is sure to make an impact in year one via his strong shooting and overall versatility. It's clear Denver valued Strawther's skillset, as they traded up a few times in order to nab his talents.
Their two second round picks, Jalen Pickett and Hunter Tyson, might not be as immediate contributors as Strawther, but still offer plenty of skills that should excite Denver fans regardless.
