2023 NBA Draft: LA Clippers Official Selections and Draft Grades
The Clippers are coming off a few tumultuous, injury-ridden seasons. But for all intents and purposes seem intent on running it back with their current core of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, despite potential inquiries into the upper ranks of the draft.
The team appeared to be trading the No. 30 pick just hours before the draft in a deal for Boston’s Malcolm Brogan, but the deal ultimately fell through due to health concerns on LA’s end.
Instead, they chose to select a prospect that should help usher them through the 2023-24 regular season.
Here’s how the Clippers’ 2023 NBA Draft unfolded:

Draft Summary
With the last pick in the first round, the Clippers weren't expected to do anything flashy. But a selection of Missouri's Kobe Brown was an interesting one.
Brown showcased real versatility in his final year with the Tigers, and saw a massive jump in 3-point percentage. If he can continue to light it up from outside, he'll undoubtedly have a role in the NBA, even as early as next season.
Los Angeles also took a swing on Miami wing Jordan Miller at No. 48. Miller projects to be a role player, and will likely make his money doing all the little things in the NBA. It may not seem like much, but his rebounding and versatile defense will go a long ways for his newest team.
The Clippers did just fine on draft night.
