2023 NBA Draft Lottery: Toronto Raptors Land No. 13 Overall Pick

During Tuesday’ NBA Draft Lottery, the Toronto Raptors found out what pick they will have in 2023 NBA Draft.

On Tuesday evening, NBA franchises encountered a momentous occasion with the potential to significantly impact their future. The top 14 picks of the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft, scheduled for June 22, were solidified at the draft lottery.

During an exciting event, the NBA unveiled the fortunate recipient of the coveted No. 1 overall pick and Victor Wembanyama, along with the remaining lottery positions.

The Toronto Raptors had the second worst odds entering the night, and ultimately landed the No. 13 overall pick.

The Raptors had a near-93 percent chance at landing the thirteenth pick, and with just a four percent chance at landing a top-four pick, it was all but a guarantee even prior to lottery night.

Luckily for the Raptors, there are set to be a plethora of talented players that could bolster their roster next season, and more specifically their backcourt.

With the potential departure of Fred VanVleet, they'll likely look to grab another guard to plug into the lineup. Keyonte George, Cason Wallace, Jalen Hood-Schifino and Kobe Bufkin could all be well within that range on draft night 2023.

Between now and the 2023 NBA Draft, the Draft Digest team will be breaking down prospects that could be available in the Raptors' range. The draft will kick off on June 22, 2023 at 7 p.m.
