2023 NBA Draft: New York Knicks Official Selections and Draft Grades
Entering the 2023 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks did not own a single pick. Regardless, trading into any draft is always a possibility. New York seems poised to make a big move this summer, but the right opportunity has to present itself. With one good consolidation trade for a high level starter, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Knicks be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference next season.

Draft Summary
While several teams that didn't have picks entering Thursday night ended up trading into the second round, New York opted not to. This isn't a good or a bad thing, as the team already has a good blend of young and veteran talent and should have only made a move if it made sense. Especially if the Knicks are looking to make a splash this summer, keeping roster spots open and assets accessible will be key.
With that in mind, the Knicks were extremely active on the undrafted free agent market, bringing in several players that could legitimately make the roster in Jacob Toppin and Jaylin Martin. They may not be able to contribute immediately, but one could prove to be much needed depth during the course of the season.
