Draft Summary
Coming off their best season in years, the Kings didn't need to do anything special in tonight's draft, but they still managed to swing on a pair of players that should in the least be solid contributors.
Sacramento grabbed Xavier guard Colby Jones at No. 34, potentially grabbing an immediate impact player due to versatility as a ball-handler, shot-creator, defender and floor-spacer who does all the little things.
Slawson is of a similar mold, albeit with a little more developing to do in a few key areas.
Regardless, Sacramento landed two versatile hybrids on Thursday night that should be in the rotation years to come.
