Draft Summary
Overall, the Spurs may have won the night in the first five minutes.
Even if San Antonio had just left the draft with presumptive top-pick Victor Wembanyama they've have graded A-plus here. But the addition of highly-touted G League wing Sidy Cissoko, who also hails from France, was icing on the cake.
In Wembanyama, the Spurs added the sun in which their roster will revolve around for the foreseeable future. At 7-foot-4, Wembanyama is one of the greatest draft prospects we've ever seen, and is sure to back it up on-court in the 2023-24 season.
With Cissoko, they've added an athletic, bulky, physical wing who should add plenty in the ways of good passing and defense, as well as secondary playmaking.
