Edey, Ware’s 7-Foot Battle Highlights Tuesday’s College Basketball Games

NBA Draft prospects will be looking to raise their stock in a loaded Tuesday slate for college basketball.

Rarely have top NBA Draft spots been this up for grabs, this late in the season. And prospects will undoubtedly be looking to raise their stock on a nightly basis.

Here are some of the top NBA Draft matchups or prospects to watch in tonight’s college basketball slate:

Zach Edey Versus Kel’el Ware

Two of the top big men prospects in the 2024 draft class — Purdue’s Zach Edey and Indiana’s Kel’el Ware — are set to face off against one another tonight in a gritty matchup.

A sophomore putting together a strong season after freshman woes at Oregon, Ware’s stakes for the game are much higher than Edey, who has multiple seasons worth of production to speak for him.

But when it comes to potential pro versus potential pro, scouts could weigh this matchup more heavily.

Ja’Kobe Walter Continues Conference Play

Baylor guard Ja’Kobe Walter has been one of the few freshmen to really produce this season, averaging 15.3 points on 43% shooting overall.

Still, conference ball figures to be another beast entirely, with each of the Big 12 teams owning a share of the hardest remaining schedules.

So far in three games, Walter’s averaged just 12.3 points on 36% shooting. So tonight’s rematch against Kansas State could be a way to get back on track.

McCullar and Co. Take on OSU

Kansas wing Kevin McCullar seems to have hit another gear this season. But as stated previously, tough Big 12 matchups could cause former woes to rear their ugly head.

Against the Pokes tonight, McCullar — flanked by other potential draftees Elmarko Jackson and KJ Adams — will look to continue their white-hot streak started with the defeat of No. 9 Oklahoma.
