2024 NBA Draft Superlatives: Top Playmakers
Every NBA team could use a high level playmaker that’s capable of getting teammates open with their high level passing ability. We have seen guys that can change games with their pure playmaking ability like Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul and the list can go on forever.
Here are the top three playmakers that are eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft:
Isaiah Collier | USC
Isaiah Collier is one of the top prospects eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft widely due to his elite playmaking ability.
Collier led Wheeler High School to three state championships in his four years in high school and that speaks volumes to how much he impacts winning in a positive way.
Collier is a 6-foot-3 point guard that has unreal court vision and a phenomenal feel for the game. The high level lead guard will be looking to lead the PAC-12 in assists per game as he’ll have the keys to the offense at USC with other impressive scoring guards next to him.
Elliot Cadeau | North Carolina
Elliot Cadeau was originally part of the 2024 high school class but elected to reclassify this past summer to join North Carolina a year early.
Cadeau is coming off a GEICO Nationals Championship which is the biggest tournament in all of high school basketball. He impressed many scouts and coaches with his ability to set up teammates for success and consistently create open shots. Although he’s a bit undersized, we still could be seeing a generational playmaker as he has out of the world passing ability.
With Caleb Love transferring, we could see some big time minutes out of Cadeau to allow him to showcase his passing repertoire.
Juan Núñez | Ratiopharm Ulm
Juan Núñez is entering his second year of draft eligibility as he elected to not remain in the 2023 NBA Draft.
Now, the 6-foot-3 lead guard will be playing for Ratiopharm Ulm for another season and looking to make a big jump as a playmaker. One thing is for certain and that’s Núñez is a special playmaker.
The talented left-handed lead guard has some of the best court vision and passing versatility in the draft. He was consistently picking professional teams' defenses apart in the BBL as one of the youngest players in that league. Núñez could sneak himself into first round conversations with a big year.
