2024 NBA Draft: Top Prospects in the PAC-12
College basketball is just right around the corner so thankfully we still have time to do some preseason scouting on these college players. Let’s dive into the top PAC-12 prospects for the 2024 NBA Draft.
Isaiah Collier | USC
Isaiah Collier is a 6-foot-3 freshman point guard that will be playing for the USC Trojans this upcoming season. He’s a potential number one pick due to his elite playmaking ability and his high level floor vision. Collier is a true floor general that makes his teammates around him better. With him playing next to other elite college guards in Bronny James and Boogie Ellis, it should allow him to showcase his full offensive arsenal. Collier still has some ways to go as an outside shooter but the high IQ, feel for the game and playmaking he brings to the table is next to none in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Cody Williams | Colorado
Cody Williams is a 6-foot-8 freshman wing that will be playing for the Colorado Buffaloes. A fun fact is that he’s the younger brother of Jalen Williams, a 6-foot-6 second year player for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Williams will have high expectations for Colorado as some scouts see him as a super tall playmaker that can create for others and himself. He doesn’t wow you with athleticism but it’s his feel for the game and versatility that makes him a highly touted prospect.
Aday Mara | UCLA
Aday Mara is a 7-foot-3 freshman center that will be playing for the UCLA Bruins this upcoming season. He has a lot of hype around his name as he is considered the best passing center in this year’s upcoming draft class. The big man has a good feel for the game on both ends of the floor and has the ability to dominate the paint. He’s an elite rim protector due to his great size, length and defensive instincts. Mara has shown flashes of stretch big ability but the jumper still isn’t as consistent as you would want it to be. Overall, he has a chance to be a top ten pick in the 2024 NBA Draft if all goes well in college.
