Brooklyn Nets Land Elite Athlete With No. 4 Pick in Latest Mock Draft

The NCAA Tournament is in full swing as the 2025 NBA Draft coverage ramps up in the process with tons of talent on display on a massive stage.
This has led some of the best draft analyst to put out a new wave of Mock Drafts, including Derek Parker who released a full 30 team NBA Mock Draft as the NCAA Tournament began last week.
In that mock draft, the Brooklyn Nets landed the No. 4 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and had an interesting decision to make with Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey off the board. At this pick, the draft expert gave the Nets Baylor swingman VJ Edgecomb.
"At No. 4 we have the Brooklyn Nets who appear to be going after a shortened rebuild where they grab swing picks for the next few draft before buying win now talent...I have gambled on VJ Edgecomb out of Baylor, who offers a high ceiling, blank slate prospects and one who can be valuable in a number of areas. Edgecomb is a guard/wing, with good athleticism and is a tweener in a few suspect areas. He will need some real development to be a go to scoring option but offers tantalizing defense. This isn't a horrible option to kick off your rebuild with. At the end of the day, Edgecomb oozes positive impact and massive potential," Parker said in this latest NBA Mock Draft of this pick.
Edgecomb is one of the best prospects in this class with high-end athletic ability and the potential to be a No. 2 guy for a roster that can win a championship one day.
