In just seven days, the NBA G League officially kicks off their preseason action.

In regards to the 2024 NBA Draft, prospects on the Ignite will participate in the G League Fall Invitational on Sept. 6 and 8, hoping to boost their stock out the gate.

The Ignite, headlined by Ron Holland, Matas Buzelis, Izan Almansa, Thierry Darlan and more, will take on the Perth Wildcats of the NBL, who have a 2024 prospect of their own in Alex Sarr.

There are sure to be plenty of takeaways from the two contests, which features a host of potential top-five prospects, most notably Holland and Buzelis.

To this point, Holland is essentially the consensus No. 1 pick per most experts big boards and mock drafts. And at 6-foot-8 with clear potential as a three-level scorer and rangy defensive anchor, his rankings make sense.

His teammate, Buzelis, is right on his tail, typically earning top-five buzz on mocks and boards and reaching as high as the No. 1 spot on more than one. At 6-foot-11, the former Sunrise Christian star has a perimeter-oriented game packed inside a length frame, which makes for a really fun skillset.

Sarr, Almansa and Darlan are not to be left out, however. All three international prospects, each possessing their own skillsets that could make them lottery picks or even higher.

Sarr is another rangy forward with strong potential two-way ability, and more perimeter chops than given credit for. Almansa is a highly-accoladed, compact forward who projects to have great interior scoring and versatile defense. And Darlan is a talented shooting guard with a knack for shot-making and utilizing his sneaky athleticism.

Regardless, the matchup between the two squads is sure to give us an early peek at who could be hearing their name called early on draft night 2024.

Tipoff between the Ignite and Perth is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6 and Friday, Sept. 8 from the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada.
