How NBA Draft Prospects Fared in Conference Championships

Collegiate NBA Draft prospects are making their final marks before its officially draft seasons.

Several conference championships were played on Sunday ahead of March Madness, and collegiate NBA Draft prospects are making their final marks before its officially draft seasons.

Here’s how some of the top draft prospects fared in their conference championships:

Brandon Miller, Alabama

After one of his best games to date in the SEC semifinals, Miller was wholly inefficient in the championships, but still stuffed the stat sheet to help the Crimson Tide bring home the championship.

He shot just five-for-20 overall, but still scored 23 points, hitting all but one of his 10 free throw attempts.

Even more, he poured on 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals to help Alabama down Texas A&M, 82-63.

Jarace Walker, Houston

Walker had a tough shooting day as a Marcus Sasser-less Houston squad was dethroned by Memphis on Sunday, 75-65.

Walker shot just 4-for-13 overall, but still managed a strong defensive performance with three blocks and two steals.

Zach Edey, Purdue

Edey continued his dominant run on Sunday with a 30-point, 13-rebound and one-assist performance in the Big Ten championship game.

The Boilermakers took down Penn State, 67-65. Edey, a potential second round flyer come 2023 draft night, has been a force throughout the college season.

DaRon Holmes II, Dayton

Despite a tough day for the Flyer, Holmes capped his strong conference tournament run with 28 points, 16 rebounds and a whopping five blocks versus VCU on Sunday.

The Rams ultimately took home the Atlantic 10 Championship with a 12-point victory, but Holmes has likely cemented himself as a draft prospect, nonetheless.
