The NCAA tournament has officially kicked off, and upsets have already come to fruition.

For collegiate NBA Draft prospects, they’ve got one final chance at raising their stock in the form of a deep tournament run.

Here’s how some of the top NBA Draft prospect fared in the early slate of Thursday’s March Madness games:

Gradey Dick, Kansas

Dick had a solid start to his tournament in helping No. 1 seed Kansas to a 96-68 win over Howard.

Dick poured on 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting, adding 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals. It was an all-around performance and great start to a potential run for Kansas, who has a decent chance at repeating for the national championship.

The former Gatorade Player of the Year hit three of his five attempts from beyond the arc.

Brandon Miller, Alabama

The projected No. 3 player in the 2023 NBA Draft, Brandon Miller, finished a scoreless 0-for-5 from the field in Alabama’s 96-75 win over Texas A&M-CC in what was one of his least productive performances of the year.

He added five rebounds, three assists and one block, but was a non-factor scoring the ball.

Still, the No. 1-seeded Crimson Tide still managed 96 points and a 19-point win. If Miller can shake off the rust, Alabama can certainly contend for the championship.

Jalen Slawson, Furman

A potential late riser in the 2023 Draft cycle, forward Jalen Slawson put together a productive game in Furman’s big win over fourth-seeded Virginia.

The senior scored 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out four assists and added one steal and block apiece in the win. He shot 6-for-10 overall and hit six of his seven free throw attempts.

Virginia’s Reece Beckman had 14 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals and blocks apiece in the loss.
