With major potential changes on the horizon, Golden State could be looking to re-shape its roster around superstar Steph Curry, and that will start with the 2023 NBA Draft.

The Warriors have the No. 19 pick in the draft, and should have plenty of options with new players earning alleged lottery looks each day.

Here’s three options for the Dubs with their first round selection:

Dereck Lively, Duke

In the last month or so, Duke rim-protector Dereck Lively’s stock has blossomed all the way to potentially even the top ten. But there’s still a chance his relatively pedestrian numbers with the Blue Devils see him into the middle of the first round.

At 7-foot-1, Lively would provide necessary interior defense and size at the center position, something that could plug into a variety of lineups for Golden State.

Even more, with potential to stretch out beyond the arc, he could be a solid addition to the team’s young core.

Noah Clowney, Alabama

In a similar vein, Alabama forward Noah Clowney is going to be one of the better defensive forwards in the class at 6-foot-10, and should be right around the Warriors range at No. 19.

One of the youngest players in the class, he’s likely going to be less immediately impactful than Lively in a traditional protector sense, but down the line will provide versatility that the NBA is trending towards.

And again, he showed some floor-stretching ability with the Crimson Tide. If the team could ever unlock it, they’d have a solid piece on their hands.

Brice Sensabaugh, Ohio State

If the Warriors are wanting an immediate infusion of offense next season, look no further than Ohio State forward Brice Sensabaugh.

At 6-foot-6, Sensabaugh has some of the best scoring instincts in the class, as he averaged around 16 points per game in just 24 minutes in his lone season with the Buckeyes.

Sensabaugh wouldn’t be impactful in key areas like passing, playmaking or defense, but would provide an immediate scoring punch with his solid spot-up shooting and physicality.
