NBA Summer League: Salt Lake City Schedule and Participants
Following Thursday’s draft, some incoming rookies will have less than two weeks to get acquainted with their new teams before having the opportunity to compete in game action. With NBA Summer League action set to take place in early July, Salt Lake City will host one of the first circuits for incoming rookies and other young players looking to make their way into regular NBA rotations.
Four teams will compete in this four-day event, with games taking place on three separate days. The Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, Philadelphia 76ers and of course the Utah Jazz will each play three contests in this circuit before heading to Las Vegas.
- July 3: 5 p.m. Memphis Grizzlies vs. Philadelphia 76ers
- Jule 3: 7 p.m. Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz
- July 5: 5 p.m. Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
- July 5: 7 p.m. Philadelphia 76ers vs. Utah Jazz

Utah (No. 9) and Oklahoma City (No. 12) are each set to have lottery selections on Thursday, meaning two of the top rookies in this class will take the floor against one another in the first day of this event. From there, the Jazz own the No. 16 and No. 28 picks as well, while the Grizzlies will select at No. 25 overall. As such, upwards of five first-round picks will participate in Salt Lake City.
