It's been a truly special season for Victor Wembanyama, as the rookie has made the San Antonio Spurs must-watch TV. More importantly, the French phenom has improved as his rookie year has progressed, ultimately rising up the ranks of the best in the league today.

As many phenomenal things that he has accomplished in year one, the past week or so might have been his most impressive performance. With just a handful of games remaining in the regular season, it will be fascinating to see how much more Wembanyama can accomplish.

What has the generational talent done since our last Wemby Watch update, and what are his statistics to this point?

2023-24 Stats: 21.2 PPG | 10.5 RPG | 3.7 APG | 3.5 BPG | 1.3 SPG | 46.4% FG | 31.9% 3PT

Spurs Record: 18-58

In Wembanyama's last two games of March, he scored 40 and 32 points respectively. That 40-point outing included pulling down 20 rebounds and dishing out seven assists. He's done so many remarkable things this season, but that 40/20 game might be the most impressive of his rookie campaign given how rare that accomplishment is.

The NBA Rookie of the Year award is Wembanyama's at this point in the season as he's put together one of the best rookie campaigns in league history. On both ends of the floor, he's an absolute game-changer who has the chance to be an MVP candidate as early as next season if the Spurs are a competitive team.

In the upcoming week, Wembanyama and the Spurs will take on the New Orleans Pelicans, Philadelphia 76ers, Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder.
