As the 2023-24 season goes on, Victor Wembanyama continues to make unbelievable plays. With his size and skillset, he's truly doing things that we've never seen on a basketball court before.

With that in mind, he's still a teenage rookie that is figuring out how to play at the NBA level. Despite being a once in a lifetime talent that could one day be the best player in the league, he's learning and developing each game. It's been a strong start to the season, but there's much he needs to get better at.

What has the generational talent done since our last Wemby Watch update, and what are his statistics to this point?

2023-24 Stats: 18.8 PPG | 9.5 RPG | 2.5 APG | 2.6 BPG | 1.0 SPG | 43.0% FG | 27.5% 3PT

Spurs Record: 3-12

It's been a rough week for Wembanyama offensively, but his best scoring performance in the last few contests came against the Sacramento Kings. Although it took him 26 shots, he the French phenom did notch 27 points. Over his last four games, Wembanyama is shooting 37.1% from the floor and 19.0% from beyond the arc. Once he figures out how to get to his spots and score more efficiently, he will truly make the case for being one of the best centers in the league.

Luckily for the Spurs rookie, he's wildly impactful even when the shot isn't falling. On the defensive side of the ball, Wembanyama uses his length to absolutely change the game. Against the Memphis Grizzlies this week, he notched an outstanding eight blocks, dominating the battle in the paint. This was a career-high for the 19-year-old, which likely will be broken as early as this season.

In the upcoming week, Wembanyama and the Spurs will take on the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks.
