The NBA draft is a special night for many people. It's a time that represents hope and opportunity; for players' dreams to become a reality or for NBA teams to add talent as they pursue improving their roster. And the same goes for dedicated fans as well. But, regardless of one's involvement, the NBA Draft is a big night.

And months before Adam Silver steps on stage to announce the number one pick, there is a jam-packed pre-draft process. Teams diligently continue to study and learn about prospects in hopes of gathering enough information to allow them to make the best selection for their organization. And players and their agents navigate the process by trying to impress teams and the media alike to try and move the needle. And many players are faced with challenging decisions during this process. For example, do they enter the draft, and if so, do they stay in or return to school?

So the 2023 NBA Draft will happen at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on June 22, but as I mentioned, quite a few things happen beforehand.
