Prospect Profile
A French forward with an intriguing skillset and good positional size, Perrin is a player to keep an eye on ahead of the 2025 NBA Draft. Standing at 6-foot-10, he has a good natural build and should have no problem adjusting to the NBA style of play from a physicality standpoint.
On the offensive end, there’s a variety of valuable skillsets that Perrin brings to the table. Whether it’s in face-up scenarios in which he needs to create for himself or as a play finisher near the rim or on the perimeter, he has the ability to impact that end of the floor. He’s also a great screener who can roll or pop depending on what his team needs. This makes him a versatile piece who can slot into many different lineups and scenarios.
Perrin’s 3-point shot isn’t as reliable as it needs to be, but there’s enough of a sample size to suggest he could get to that point in the near future. He’s also an underrated positional passer who operates as a connector within the flow of the offense.
Despite being a bigger forward both from a height and frame standpoint, Perrin moves very well. Especially on the defensive end, that leaves plenty of room for optimism as a good pick-and-roll defender who can hold his own against smaller players in space. Conversely, he has the strength and size to defend bigs in the paint.
While he was initially set to showcase his talents in the US at the college level at Illinois, Perrin ultimately ended up going back to France after a short stint with the Fighting Illini. As such, he’s still a great prospect but will be 21 years old on opening night of the 2025-26 season, making him an older prospect relative to many of his peers.
