Prospect Profile

A five-year college player, Carr spent two years at both Delaware and Wake Forest before finding his way to Kentucky this season. A 6-foot-11 forward with a modern skillset, he’s an interesting prospect who will have interest from NBA teams.

Carr’s 3-point efficiency has been somewhat inconsistent in his college career. He arguably had his best shooting campaign last season with Wake Forest when considering both volume and accuracy, but he is down in both categories at Kentucky. He’s shooting fewer triples and at a less efficient rate. With that in mind, he’s a good free throw shooter and has been effective at getting to the line the past two seasons.

Carr is also a solid passer for his size, showcasing his upside as a complimentary piece. He isn’t the best athlete, but Carr is mobile for his size. That has allowed him to develop as a better defender through time and become more versatile on both ends.

Although he’s an older prospect, Carr brings a skillset that can help win games immediately. He’ll never be a star in the NBA, but he has a pathway to carving out a role off the bench for a team one day.
