The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in Tuesday night's play-in tournament game, but Zion Williamson went for 40 points in the loss. Sidelined the last few minutes with an injury, Williamson was unable to finish the game, but did all he could to put his team in position to have a chance down the stretch.

As Williamson was going off, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant sent out this post:

Morant and Williamson have a relationship that goes back further than their time in the NBA, and are always supportive of one another when they are not facing off. The Pelicans star was absolutely dominant in this game, but his injury down the stretch was a massive blow, and will be something to follow as the Pelicans get ready for their second play-in game.

With this loss, the Pelicans will play the winner of Tuesday night's game between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors. The winner of that game will get the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference playoffs, and the loser will be eliminated.

The Denver Nuggets now know their opponent in the first round, as they will face the Los Angeles Lakers, but the OKC Thunder will have to wait for the rest of the play-in tournament to play out in order to know who they will see in round one.
