The Philadelphia 76ers are facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night, and Joel Embiid is being listed as questionable on the injury report with left knee injury recovery. Embiid just recently returned from an extended injury absence, so Philadelphia is going to be careful with him as they approach the postseason.

The 76ers enter this game as the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference, but sit just 1.5 games back of the 6th seed, which is the cutoff for a guaranteed playoff spot. Currently in the play-in picture, the 76ers are trying to escape that scenario if possible.

Philadelphia will be going up against a very shorthanded Grizzlies team on Saturday, as Memphis has been hit harder by injuries than anyone this season. That said, Memphis has a lot of players who play hard and have given good teams trouble at times.

Embiid was considered the frontrunner for MVP before injuring his knee, and while he is no longer eligible for that award, it has still been a remarkable season for the star center. Hoping to lead his team to a deep postseason run, Embiid is still managing that left knee. Working hard to make a return before the postseason, Embiid has put a lot of time and effort into injury rehab, and is now trying to remain healthy as the regular season winds down.
