LeBron James' Injury Status vs. Memphis Grizzlies Revealed
The Los Angeles Lakers are facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, which is the second half of a back-to-back for the Lakers. After a very impressive double overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night, Los Angeles has released their injury report for this game against Memphis, and LeBron James is being listed as questionable.
James did not play in that double overtime victory over the Bucks, so his status is not related to this being the second night of a back-to-back. This was already going to be a tough road back-to-back for the Lakers, but their double overtime battle against the Bucks certainly makes this game against the Grizzlies that much more difficult.
Memphis is very shorthanded, as they have been all season, but they have gotten some key pieces back recently. Desmond Bane recently returned from injury, and Brandon Clarke could be making his return from injury in this game. That said, Ja Morant remains sidelined for the rest of the season, which has been the biggest blow for Memphis in this season of very poor injury luck.
Every game is important for the Lakers from here on out, as they are trying to optimize their seeding in a very competitive Western Conference. For Memphis, they are continuing to build their momentum towards next season.
