Dillon Brooks Gives Unexpected Answer About Drake
In a recent video from the FIBA Basketball World Cup Twitter page, Team Canada was asked to choose their favorite Canadian between Ryan Reynolds and Drake. The players asked in the video included Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kelly Olynyk, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, RJ Barrett, Dillon Brooks, and others. Of the players asked, every single one of them answered Drake - except Dillon Brooks:
It was an unexpected answer from Brooks, especially after every player before him chose Drake. The former Memphis Grizzlies forward did not get a chance to elaborate on his answer; however, this added to the production of the video, as fans have been laughing at the quick cutoff at the end while Brooks is finishing his answer.
This type of content is always fun, as fans get an opportunity to see their favorite players in a unique setting. Discussing fun topics outside of basketball, Team Canada gave their fans a funny video prior to their FIBA World Cup run.
Team Canada is widely expected to be one of the biggest medal contenders in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, even with the absence of Denver Nuggets champion Jamal Murray. Loaded with talent, Canada should be able to give any team trouble during their games this summer. Between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, RJ Barrett, Dillon Brooks, Lu Dort, and others, Canada has a very solid roster.
