Former Grizzlies guard Danny Green loved the organization

During a recent appearance on No Chill with Gilbert Arenas, former Memphis Grizzlies guard Danny Green shared his true thoughts on the organization he spent a short amount of time with.

"I liked Memphis a lot," Green said. "They were one of the top organizations. They were A1. They communicated, over-communicated. They were great. They had a great group of kids."

While the Grizzlies have been getting a lot of negative coverage over the last year, Green set the record straight on what type of organization they are. While some of the negative coverage has been warranted, as the Grizzlies brought much of it upon themselves with their trash talk throughout the year, this is still a high-level organization with a lot of potential going forward.

Making some solid offseason moves to bring in more veteran leadership, the Grizzlies acquired both Marcus Smart and Derrick Rose. This is something Green is excited to see, as he believes they definitely needed some more veterans in addition to Steven Adams, who was their oldest player.

The Grizzlies are going to have to prove to people that they are are a serious team next season, but some may be going too far with the skepticism. It won't be easy to survive without Ja Morant for the first 25 games, but this has been an otherwise solid summer for Memphis.
