Grizzlies Star Reveals Most Impressive Player on Team USA
If there's one player that seems to surprise everyone that plays against him or with him, it's Anthony Edwards. Time after time, players speak up about how surprised they are with Edwards, this time, it's Jaren Jackson Jr.
Jaren Jackson Jr. spoke with Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports where he discussed his time on Team USA and which teammate surprised him the most.
"Probably Ant-Man, Ant-Man," Jackson said. "I mean, I can't say he surprised me. He's just doing what Ant does. And BI's doing-- it's hard to say because everybody's kind of doing what I've seen them do in the NBA."
Jackson already plays with some of the youngest and brightest guards on the Memphis Grizzlies, but there are a few on Team USA he's been very exciting to both compete with and play with.
"Probably Tyrese [Haliburton], probably Tyrese and probably Jalen [Brunson], just because they're two point guards I don't play with," Jackson said. "And it's just good to, like, kind of mix it up and see-- pick their brain and help me play with my point guards better, and help me kind of learn and grow. So maybe that, just point guard perspectives."
Team USA is always a fantastic experience for young players to develop into a more refined one. Hopefully, with this experience, Jaren Jackson Jr. can become an even greater leader for the Memphis Grizzlies.
