Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has been mostly silent on social media this summer, but the point guard recently appeared on the Instagram account @inkednba showing off his new tattoos. The post included three pictures of Morant and his new ink, with a caption that read the following:

"Ja just got blasted! Ja linked up with @ortega_ink to add this huge back piece along with some new pieces to his front. Back includes a collection of the teams he has played for throughout his basketball career (high school, college, pros) along with the words 'life's a gamble' and several Kobe tributes. What're your thoughts?"

Morant's back piece included a Memphis Grizzlies logo, a Mamba Mentality tribute with Kobe's number, Kobe's logo, Morant's personal logo, and more. The post was shared to Instagram on Tuesday night, and also showed the Grizzlies star gifting a jersey to the artist that completed the tattoo work.

It was very detailed artwork that Morant had done, and it also contained many different symbols that are meaningful to him. From the collection of basketball teams that he has played for, to multiple different Kobe Bryant tributes, Morant made sure these tattoos were something that represented who he is and where he came from.
