There has been a lot of discussion about Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant potentially missing out on All-NBA honors due to his eight-game suspension. Morant missed nine games in total after flashing a gun on Instagram live, and some have discussed whether or not that will cost him a place on one of the three All-NBA teams.

When asked about the end of season awards coming up, Morant shut down all conversation surrounding All-NBA and other honors, saying it’s something he is not worried about in any way.

"That’s not on my mind," Morant said after Wednesday night's loss to the Clippers. "My mind is on continuing to win games right now, finish the regular season out strong, and then get ready for playoffs to start our journey to go win a ring. All-NBA, all those awards are not on my mind at all. I don't care how it goes, honestly. My job is to be here with my team, help us get wins, and that's the main thing right now."

The Grizzlies saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday night when they fell to the Clippers at home. The Grizzlies were very shorthanded, but still had an opportunity to win that game. Memphis will get another crack at the Clippers on Friday, and will likely be much healthier in this one.
