After serving his eight-game gun video suspension, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant will officially make his return to the court on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets. The Grizzlies released their official injury report, and Morant was not listed, meaning he is expected to play.

Despite being eligible for their previous game against the Dallas Mavericks, Morant was held out due to return to play conditioning. Having ramped up his conditioning level to where it needs to be, Morant will be back in the lineup on Wednesday against the Rockets. The Grizzlies did an incredible job of holding things down without their star point guard, and will re-integrate him into a team that has remained the two-seed in the Western Conference.

Memphis certainly wants to maintain their hold on the two-seed, and will have to stay locked in as the Sacramento Kings sit only 1.5 games behind them in the standings. On a three-game winning streak, the Grizzlies have a lot of positive momentum going for them. Reinstating Ja Morant into the mix should be a huge boost for a team that already has a lot of confidence.

Motivated to lead his team further than they went last season, Morant is locked in and ready to go. The Grizzlies were a second round exit last season, but expect to go much further this year.
