Lakers vs Grizzlies Rematch Dates Revealed
If there's one team that the Memphis Grizzlies want to get their lick back against, it's the Los Angeles Lakers. Fortunately, they'll have four chances for revenge this upcoming season.
The 2023-24 official NBA season schedule was revealed this week, and with it, are the four dates that the Memphis Grizzlies will be facing the Los Angeles Lakers. The four dates are: November 16 on the road, January 5 on the road, March 27 at home, and April 12 at home.
Based on the schedule, it looks like the Grizzlies will be missing Ja Morant due to suspension for only the November 16 game against the Lakers. If he can remain healthy, he'll be available for all other three games, which is a huge plus for Memphis. The main role player that Memphis Grizzlies will need against the Los Angeles Lakers is Steven Adams. Memphis can ill-afford to lose size against the Lakers again, as it was a huge reason why they lost in the playoffs against them.
Beating the Lakers in the regular season won't completely avenge last year's loss for the Memphis Grizzlies, but it's a step in the right direction. The 2023-24 NBA season should be one where the Grizzlies finally take a step toward beating teams like the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. No more senseless trash talk, just complete dominance on the court.
