New York Knicks vs Memphis Grizzlies Injury Report Revealed
After a strong effort against the LA Clippers last night, the Memphis Grizzlies have another game to play 24 hours later against the New York Knicks. They'll have to do it very shorthanded, too.
The Memphis Grizzlies have eight players listed on their injury report: Steven Adams, Santi Aldama, Desmond Bane, Brandon Clarke, Ja Morant, Derrick Rose, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Marcus Smart. All of these players have been ruled out except Jackson, who is being listed as doubtful with a right knee contusion.
The New York Knicks have four players listed on their injury report: Jalen Brunson, Mitchell Robinson, Jacob Toppin, and Duane Washington Jr. Jalen Brunson is questionable with a left calf contusion, Mitchell Robinson is out with left ankle surgery, Jacob Toppin is out with a G League two-way, and Duane Washington Jr. is out with a G League two-way.
While the Grizzlies have been playing inspired basketball after Ja Morant's devastating injury, the talent deficit was shown to be too much recently. Going against the New York Knicks immediately after facing the LA Clippers is going to be a very tall task for this team. Not to mention that Desmond Bane also went down with an injury during the Clippers game last night, too. Still, this team always finds a way to compete.
The Memphis Grizzlies and New York Knicks face off at 8:00 p.m. EST tonight.
