While Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant will have to serve a 25-game suspension to begin the 2023-24 NBA season, he is already getting work in with his teammates. A lot less active on social media since his second gun video incident, Morant has not given fans much offseason content, but recent workout footage has surfaced of him working out with young Grizzlies players David Roddy and GG Jackson.

The original video was shared by @dnell_21 on Instagram as part of a longer post that included pictures from the workout as well. This is fun to see, because while it is of course not unusual for teammates to workout together during the summer, fans don't always get this good of a look at those workouts.

While Morant was once very active on social media, he has been taking a step back since his second gun video incident, and spending less time on both Twitter and Instagram. This feels like the right move after both of his gun video incidents were streamed on Instagram live, although just one from his own account.

Trying to recenter his focus on basketball and everything that is in front of him with this promising Memphis Grizzlies team, Morant will have the rest of this summer, and then 25 regular season games, to prepare for his return.
