In this story:

After two days of All-Star festivities, the 2024 NBA All-Star Game is going to be played tonight and it figures to be another high-scoring affair.

One of the most interesting things to come out of this game is who wins the All-Star Game MVP. The game is going back to the old East vs West model tonight and the winning conference is almost certainly going to turn out the game's MVP tonight.

With the game being in Indianapolis and his ability to stuff the stat sheet, Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton is the odds-on favorite for All-Star Game MVP according to Caesars Sportsbook. Haliburton is +450 for tonight.

Not far behind him are three players that have already won the All-Star Game MVP. Giannis Antetokounmpo (+700), Jayston Tatum (+900), and Stephen Curry (+900) are right behind him. Curry could try to shoot as many three's as possible tonight and would not be a bad bet to win his second All-Star Game MVP.

Where does Hawks guard Trae Young factor into the MVP race tonight?

Young is currently at 12th in the odds at +2000. If Young were an All-Star starter, I think he would stand a reasonable chance to win it, but coming off the bench and doing it is a tough thing to do. It has happened before, but it will make it tougher.

After putting on a show in the Three-Point Contest and Skills Challenge, Young is looking to make his third appearance in the All-Star Game his most memorable. Bob Pettit is the only member of the Hawks franchise to ever win All-Star Game MVP, doing it with the St. Louis Hawks in 1958 and 1962.
