Preview

Game One of the Eastern Conference Playoffs series between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics was a solid beatdown. Boston took a 30-point lead into halftime before cruising to victory.

Hawks fans' expectations were low entering the game, but Atlanta still managed to underperform. To their credit, they played hard throughout the entire game. Yesterday, we discussed five realistic goals they can achieve in the series.

For Atlanta to avoid falling behind 2-0, a lot would have to go right. Starting with their defense, they cannot let all three of Boston's wings score 24+ points. Offensively, Trae Young has to find his mojo again.

Over Young's last seven playoff games, he has shot 8-49 (16.3%) from behind the arc. That is the worst shooting stretch in NBA Playoff history. Seemingly, there is nowhere to go but up for Atlanta. But fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Injury Report

Boston's injury report lists Danilo Gallinari (knee) as out. Atlanta does not have any injuries to report at this time.
