Preview

Saturday night's game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Miami Heat was another example of the wide gulf between the two teams. Once again, Miami dominated their little brother in the Southeastern Division.

Even worse, Hawks guard Trae Young has lost all confidence when facing the Heat. Young shot 2-13 (0-5) and finished with eight points. John Collins is on the verge of being unplayable due to his career-low shooting splits.

Tonight's game is the last of four matchups between the two teams, and an Atlanta win ties the season series and pulls them within a half-game of Miami in the Eastern Conference standings.

Atlanta's offense is too unpredictable, so they must rely on their 21st-ranked defense to control Jimmy Butler and crew. Make no mistake, tonight's game is a crucial early test in the Quin Snyder era.

Injury Report

Miami's injury report lists Kyle Lowry (knee) and Nikola Jovic (G-League Assignment) as out. Omer Yurtseven (G-League Assignment) is listed as probable. Atlanta does have any injuries to report at this time.
