Atlanta Hawks Release Injury Report Ahead of Matchup With the Celtics
The Hawks wrapped up a six-game homestand last night with a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers and for the first time in a long time, they are going to be hitting the road on Wednesday. After playing what might be the best team in the Western Conference last night, they are going to be playing the best team in the Eastern Conference tomorrow in Boston.
Ahead of the matchup with the Celtics, Atlanta released its injury report and thankfully for the Hawks, it is lighter than it has been at different points this year.
De’Andre Hunter (right knee injury management) is probable while Clint Capela (left adductor strain) and Mouhamed Gueye (right low back stress fracture) are out.
While he was still on a minutes restriction last night, De'Andre Hunter looked fantastic against the Clippers. He led the Hawks with 27 points on 10-12 shooting, including 3-5 from three and played solid defense as well.
The Hawks did provide an injury update on Gueye today:
"Forward Mouhamed Gueye (right low back stress fracture) has returned to modified practice with the College Park Skyhawks. He is traveling with the Hawks this week to continue his rehabilitation plan. His status will be updated as appropriate."
For the Celtics, they are listing guard Jrue Holiday as questionable with a right elbow sprain.
