Atlanta Hawks vs Orlando Magic: Start time, where to watch, betting odds

Atlanta tries to rebound from its loss on Monday and defeat Orlando in Mexico City

After two days off, the Atlanta Hawks are back in action tonight in Mexico City against a division rival.

The Orlando Magic are off to a good start this season and share the same record as the Hawks at 4-3. After spending some time in the NBA Lottery and building up their roster, the Magic appear ready to make a run at the play-in tournament or maybe even a top-six seed.

This is going to be a clash of offense vs defense tonight. Atlanta boasts one of the top offenses in the NBA and they still have room to improve. Star point guard Trae Young has gotten off to a slow start shooting the basketball and the Hawks are still not hitting the number of three-pointers that they would like to yet.

On the other end, Orlando has one of the NBA's top defenses and they have guards that can give the Hawks backcourt of Young and Dejounte Murray plenty of trouble. 2nd-year player Paolo Banchero is a potential superstar in the making and Franz Wagner is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. This is a team that has a lot of young talent and the Hawks are going to be tested tonight.

In terms of injuries, Atlanta is relatively healthy coming into the game.

Rookie guard Kobe Bufkin remains out with a left thumb fracture and Wesley Matthews remains out with a mild right calf strain, but the rest of the Hawks injury report is good. Matthews has yet to play in a game this season and Bufkin has not seen many minutes. Mouhamed Gueye was added to the injury report yesterday with a lower back strain. While Atlanta has a relatively clean bill of health going into this game, the same can't be said of the Orlando Magic.

Orlando is going to be banged up heading into this game. Wendell Carter Jr remains out, as does Gary Harris. Point guard Markelle Fultz is questionable going into tomorrow night's game and he did not play in their last game. Jonathan Isaac is probable for tomorrow night.

If Fultz is out, it will make the Orlando backcourt interesting. Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, and rookie Anthony Black will see a lot of time should Fultz be out.
