The Hawks take on the 76ers in their final preseason game tonight

The Atlanta Hawks NBA Preseason wraps up tonight with the Hawks traveling to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers.

Atlanta is coming off of their first preseason loss on Monday against the Indiana Pacers and will look to finish the preseaon 4-1 with a win tonight.

Here is all of the information that you need to know ahead of tonight's preseason clash.

What to Watch For

It looks like 76ers star and the reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid is going to make his preseason debut against the Hawks tonight. Embiid has not played so far this preseason, but he said earlier this week that he is hoping to make his debut on Friday against Atlanta:

“I’m good,” Embiid told reporters on Wednesday, according to Sixers Wire’s Ky Carlin. “That’s the goal. I was supposed to play last game, but some things happen. I couldn’t play, but I’m good. That’s the plan for now so hopefully, come Friday, I’ll be ready to go.”

If Embiid does go, it will provide a huge challenge for the Hawks, although I would not anticipate Emiid playing for very long.

Head coach Quin Snyder hinted that the Hawks might have their full starting lineup tonight against Philadelphia as well:

Saddiq Bey is coming off of a double-double in the loss to the Pacers. Bey finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds and will look to put together another solid performance in the preseason finale.

The main thing that I want to see tonight is the Hawks exit this game with no injuries ahead of the start of the season on Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets.
