Atlanta Hawks vs Washington Wizards: Start time, where to watch, betting odds
Thanksgiving and Black Friday are over and the Atlanta Hawks are back in action tonight.
After losing three straight games, the Hawks found a way to survive the Nets in overtime on Wednesday and get their record to 7-7. The big news over the past couple of games for the Hawks has been the defense, but the play of Trae Young is reaching his usual All-NBA level. He scored 38 points in a loss against the Pacers and then had 43 points against the Nets. He is going against one of the worst defenses in the NBA tonight and he could have another big game.
As far as injuries go, it is the usual injury report for Atlanta. Rookies Kobe Bufkin and Mouhamed Gueye are out for tonight's game. Washington played Milwaukee last night and on the second night of a back-to-back, there could be some guys added to the injury report later so be sure to keep an eye on that.
In the first matchup this season, Atlanta battled the Wizards in the first half, but they pulled away in the second half and the game was never really that close.
Young, Clint Capela, and Onyeka Okongwu would all finish with double-doubles. Muray had 24 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. Saddiq Bey had a solid performance, with 14 points and seven rebounds. Johnson would finish two points shy of a double-double.
