Summary

Sunday night's Game 4 matchup between the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks got off to an inauspicious start for the home team. Atlanta was never able to recover from Boston's early lead, losing the game 129-121 and falling behind 2-1 in the series.

Jayson Tatum and Derrick White powered Boston to a 12-point lead at halftime. However, it was Jaylen Brown who provided the knockout blow with 22 second-half points after shedding his obtrusive face guard.

Despite facing an uphill battle, Atlanta would not go away. Trae Young and De'Andre Hunter scored 35 and 27 points, respectively. But at the end of the day, Atlanta could not get enough timely stops to ever truly threaten Boston's manageable lead.

Both teams get one day off before meeting again in Boston for Game 5. The game will tip off Tuesday night at 7:30 on TNT. Stay locked into AllHawks.com for news, highlights, and interviews.
