The Hawks are fresh off of a win against the Orlando Magic and they are going to host the Utah Jazz tomorrow night. Atlanta is looking to stay in the play-in tournament race and a win against the Jazz would help that.

Ahead of tomorrow night's game, the Hawks released their injury report and there is nothing new ahead of the matchup.

Onyeka Okongwu (left big toe sprain/sesamoiditis) is out tomorrow night, .

Superstar point guard Trae Young injured his hand in Friday's loss to the Toronto Raptors and the Hawks announced yesterday he is going to undergo surgery to repair the radial collateral ligament (RCL) and he will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Here is the official injury update from Atlanta:

"During Friday’s game vs. Toronto, guard Trae Young suffered a left-hand injury. He underwent an MRI yesterday at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex, which revealed a tear of the radial collateral ligament (RCL) in the fifth finger of his left hand. He will undergo surgery to repair the RCL on Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York and will be re-evaluated in four weeks."

It will be a big night in Atlanta because it will be the first time that forward John Collins has played in Atlanta since being traded in the offseason.

Collins was a key member of the Hawks after being drafted and was arguably their second-best player during their run to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021. Collins was shipped to the Utah Jazz in the offseason in what was practically a salary dump. He has been a starter for Utah this season and while he has had his ups and downs this year, he had a good career in Atlanta.
