A Look Back At Miami Heat-Boston Celtics Series During Regular Season

The Miami Heat could meet the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics and Heat tied the regular-season series at two

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics could meet in the playoffs for the third time in four years.

With the kind of clutch season Jimmy Butler is having, this could also be a great opportunity for him to redeem himself after missing the series-winning shot against the Celtics in the 2022 Eastern Conference Finals.

Here's a look at how they played against each other this season when the both teams tied the regular-season series at two:

Oct. 21:

The Heat had a rough start to the year. After losing the season opener, they lost 111-104 to the Celtics. Jayson Tatum led the way with 29 points and Jaylen Brown scored 28. Derrick White scored 10 points while Grant Williams had 10 off the bench.

Tyler Herro recorded 25 points for the Heat and Bam Adebayo had 19.

Nov. 30:

This was one of Tatum’s best games this season. He scored a then season-high 49 points to lead the Celtics to a 134-121 victory. He also hit eight 3-pointers while recording 11 rebounds. Brown had 26 points and Sixth Man of the Year winner Malcolm Brogdon led all reserves with 21 points.

With Butler sidelined a seventh straight game due to a sore right knee, Adebayo and Max Strus scored 23 points to lead the Heat. Herro had 22 points and Haywood Highsmith had 16 off the bench.

Dec. 2:

Two days after the loss, the Heat bounced back with a 120-116 overtime victory. Adebayo led them with 28 points and Herro 26. Butler returned from his injury and recorded 25 points and a season-high 15 rebounds.

Brown had 37 points and 14 rebounds for the Celtics and Marcus Smart recorded 18. After his huge performance, Tatum scored just 14 points to go with 12 rebounds.

Jan. 24:

Since Butler was sidelined again due to lower back tightness, Adebayo took over with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Strus scored 13 points while Highsmith recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

With Brown sidelined with a right adductor injury, Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points and 14 rebounds.
