Bill Simmons Says Miami Heat Should Still Consider James Harden At This Point

Even though there reportedly are no talks between the Miami Heat and James Harden, Bill Simmons thinks it's a great fit
In this story:

The Miami Heat were in heavy trade speculation for most of the past three months.

Apparently, it's not over. At least some refuse to let it go that they are basically fielding the same team from last season. Media personality Bill Simmons said on his podcast on The Ringer the Heat should still make a play for Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden.

The key is not giving up too much.

“To me, if I’m trying to get James Harden if I’m Miami, that’s [Kyle] Lowry for Harden and I’ll throw in something else," Simmons said. "I’m just not giving up [Tyler] Herro for one year of James Harden.”

Harden has all but played his way out of Philadelphia after feuding with team owner Daryl Morey. After failing to make an offseason move, the Sixers now face the possibility of Harden sitting or being a disgruntled player in the locker room.

The Sixers' were supposedly in talks with the Los Angeles Clippers before that cooled. Naturally, some are still putting the Heat in the picture despite no real communication between both parties.

At this point, the Heat are fine with what their current roster. Which isn't that bad, considering they are just a few months removed from the NBA Finals. There was no telling he would make a great fit in Miami, especially with him having issues at every stop he's made in the league.

Would James Harden Make A Good Fit On The Miami Heat?
