Boston Celtics On The Rest Of Series Against Miami Heat: "Don't Let Us Get One"
Before Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals, the Boston Celtics had a message for the Miami Heat.
"Don't let us get one."
As in one victory in the series. Those were the words of Celtics guards Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart. They got their "one" victory Tuesday night and now look to get back in the series tonight in Game 5.
The Heat lead 3-1 in the best-of-7 series but it appears the Celtics have the momentum.
“A lot of times when you get to this point down 3-0, you see locker rooms and teams start to go in the other direction,” Brown said. “We wanted to make sure that we stayed together. We wanted to make sure that we looked each other in the eye and came out [in Game 4] and put our best foot forward, and I'm proud of our group for doing that because you see teams with their back against the wall and you see they just collapse. You didn't see that tonight. You saw us come together."
