The NBA world is anxious to see Portland Trail Blazers’ guard Damian Lillard’s next move.

Well, right now he’s in the studio.

On Friday, he released a new song called “Judgement Day” which went viral. It got social media talking but it wasn’t long after when trade rumors started again.

After the song was released, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo expressed his likeness for the song via an Instagram story. He shared a photo of Lillard with the caption “Wassup Bwaaa @damianlillard 👀”.

This is just another testament to the strong friendship between Adebayo and Lillard. On Jun. 8, Lillard went live on Instagram and showed his respect for Adebayo.

“Miami is the obvious one,” Lillard said on the post. “Bam [Adebayo] is my dawg. Bam is my dawg for real. Miami is the obvious one.”

Without a doubt Adebayo feels the same way. On Aug. 5, a video went viral of Brendan Tobin’s WQAM talk show. In the video, Adebayo spoke on the trade talks involving Lillard and mentioned they’re always going to remain close friends.

“Me and Dame do have a connection,” Adebayo said. “We do have a type of brotherhood, but it’s business. Both sides want it to make sense, and I’m not a part of that. The only thing I can do is spread my influence, and me and Dame continue to be close friends.”

The Heat are the frontrunners in the trade speculations involving Lillard. The friendship Adebayo has with him can increase their chances at acquiring him.
