After a relatively quiet few weeks out of the spotlight, Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez is once again back on the front page.

His performance in Monday's victory against the Sacramento Kings had teammates and peers buzzing. He had 26 points and five rebounds, helping the Heat win despite playing without starters Terry Rozier, Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro.

Here's a look at what they're saying about Jaquez:

Kings star De'Aaron Fox: "He's been a matchup problem for a lot of people. Obviously being a guy that stayed in college for so many years, people aren't expecting him to do this or do that. He has just game that works anywhere he goes and plays regardless of what team he plays for. He knows how to use his body. He gets you going one way, spin move. If you're not 6-8, you're probably not blocking his shot ... His 1 on 1 game, I feel, is a lot better than people give him credit for."

Heat forward Bam Adebayo: "He's not a regular rookie, I've always said that. He's well beyond his years and we're just gonna keep driving him to be who he is."

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra: “He’s been a role player in college, ninth man, eighth man, seventh man, sixth man and a starter as the leading man. We think that stuff matters… he’s mature and experienced.”
