Many Miami Heat fans were blindsided after Damian Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks

However, Heat guard Tyler Herro has been...oddly calm. He had one tweet talking about dodging trade rumors, but his other activity has been very pro-Lillard and void of bitterness. Could his tranquility mean he's anticipating a career year?

Herro could possibly be using the trade rumors as fuel, which explains why he hasn't expressed resentment thus far. He said he would get a Lillard jersey as a Milwaukee native. "In all seriousness...as a kid from Milwaukee, I’m grabbing me a Dame jersey," Herro tweeted Thursday.

Herro even seemed to share Butler's frustration with the trade falling through, even it would likely have shipped him out of Miami.

Of course, he could feel differently behind the screen and be hiding his true emotions. Still though, this activity could signal his lack of worry about next season.

Herro's first year as a starter was solid, averaging 20.7 points on 44 percent shooting. He was the team's best fourth-quarter performer outside of Jimmy Butler, coming up big during the game's most crucial moments all year. Herro barely saw the playoffs after getting injured in the first game against Milwaukee.

Tyler Herro's New Tattoo Displays Approach To Next Season?

The Heat's Finals run without him gave some the impression they don't need him for team success. Herro could prove these doubters wrong and have a season keeping him solidified in Miami the next few years.

Or, we'll be right back here a year later, talking about Herro in a package for Joel Embiid or something.

Do the Miami Heat owe Jimmy Butler more reinforcements?
