Dolphins Coach Mike McDaniel Makes An Appearance At Miami Heat-Nuggets Game Monday
Before the Miami Heat faced the Denver Nuggets, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel was seen talking with Heat assistant Chris Quinn.
The Heat and Dolphins have many ties and they are the most prominent South Florida professional sports teams. Players and coaches have supported the other teams for years.
Before the start of last NFL season, McDaniels and Heat coach Erik Spoelstra met in a training camp visit.
The Dolphins season ended with a loss to the Buffalo Bills in the opening round of the playoffs. The Dolphins had a rollercoaster of a year with three-game winning and losing streaks followed by five games of similar stretches. Tua Tagovailoa saw improvement in his third season but his concussions leave question marks.
Meanwhile, the Heat are in the midst of their season, dealing with inconsistency. Miami has underperformed against several teams that were either low-ranking or missing key players. They have the most clutch-time games of any team this season, keeping fans on the edge of their seats much longer than desired.
