Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams refused to hide after his trash-talking of Jimmy Butler backfired in Friday's Game 2 loss in the Eastern Conference finals.

After Williams and Butler exchanged words, the Heat went on a 24-9 run to complete a comeback and grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Here's what Williams had to say after the game:

"I think he said something and I just responded," Williams said. "... I'm not gonna run away from it... For me, it's a matter of understanding that, yeah he did 'poke a bear' ... I respect him as a motherf*cking player."'

Butler also paid his respects to Williams. He said trash-talk is part of the game and it just ignites him.

"I do respect him, though," Butler said. "He's a big part of what they try to do. He switches, he can shoot the ball. I just don't know if I'm the best person to talk to."
